2008 Feng Shui free tips : Tai Shui energy

When the economy is down, I have a lot of calls form clients who want to fix the energy of their houses to reverse the energy.  Please bear in mind that the energy can be easily fast forward but it is difficult to make it a reverse.  It is like a pregnancy, how can we reverse a pregnancy?  Feng Shui is in fact a science of common sense.    

My clients asked me to explain more about the year of the Rat.   This year 2008 is an Earth Rat year.  It is a good year for change, because the Rat is the leader of the Zodiac sign.  The water that is in the Rat year is good for traveling and moving homes.  You will see there will be a lot of movements of people all over the world.

The energy of the Rat is very powerful this year, because the Rat has the hidden secret codes.  Please do not miss the chance in getting the opportunity for the change. 

The Rat energy affects the energy of 4 Cardinal locations, north, south, east and west.  It is not only affecting the people who were born in the year of Rat, Horse, Rabbit and Rooster, the energy affects the people who live in these four locations and the door directions.

A house could be sitting in these four locations or facing these directions.  For example, my house is sitting in the north location and the door is facing the south direction.  My house touches the Tai Shui location and facing Shui Po direction.  This would affect me if I sit in the wrong location and face the wrong direction. 

This is when you would need to make the arrangement on your furniture, so you would not sit in the wrong places.  North sitting and south facing house is better than the house with south sitting and north facing.  It is because the Tai Shui is in the north and you must not face the Tai Shui.  Tai Shui is warrior energy, if you face him you would get a lot of hardship.  It is best to sit with him, so the warrior energy would support you instead. 

It means that if your TV is in the north and you sit in the south watching TV, this makes you sit in the south facing north where the warrior energy is, so you would need to re arrange the sofa and television in such a way that you do not face the wrong energy.  It is very serious if you do not do this right.

Feng Shui Tips 2008 : Chinese New Year

I have students all over the world asking me about the Chinese New Year, because they want to welcome the Chinese New Year too.  A Jewish man told me that he celebrated all of the New Year of any religion including Chinese New Year.  It is wise to do this to lift our inner spirit.  The ancient masters in my family did advise us to celebrate any happy events to lift the Tai Shui and Shui Po energy.  For those who do not understand what Tai  Shui is, please read my blogs in the archive.

There are so many things the Chinese people do to prepare for the Chinese New Year.  We start to clear the clutter before we send the Kitchen God to Heaven.  It is in the belief that when we have cleared the clutter, we can receive new things. 

The Chinese would start to go shopping for food and new clothes and shoes.  We make sure that we wear new things from top to toes to welcome the Chinese New Year.  Most of us buy red things to symbolize the prosperity and welcome the Money God.  We have our hair cut and treat it as if we need to present our outlook on life on the first day of the New Year.  Everything we do in the New Year Day will symbolize the things that will happen throughout the year.   We are very careful what we do for the New Year Period. 

The Chinese New Year celebration has started when we thank the Kitchen God on Jan 31, 2008.  The night before the official Chinese New Year will start on February 7, 2008, we celebrate the New Year Eve with family.  Our New Year will last for 20 days starting from the day sending the Kitchen God to heaven.  We do not say and think the negative things for these 20 days.  Before the New Year starts, my family would start to get calls from people who want to have feng shui done on their houses.  This is to attract prosperity as well as for protection.

On the New Year Day we will start to wake up by getting off the bed with our own auspicious direction.  We start to visit the elderly members of the family on the first day.  The women should not visit their family on the first day.  It is in the belief that if they go to the women’s family first on the first day, they would lose money.  We all believe in getting the yang energy to attract money, so do everything on the yang side of life.  The following day is for the women, so the women visit the female side (yin side) of the family.

For those people who want to spend time visiting should leave the house before 11 am.  Please avoid going out the house at noon time, especially for the people who were born in the year of the Rat.  Noon time is the horse hour.  It is best to avoid the time that relates to Tai Shui and Shui Po.  We do not sweep the floor for the first day, because it symbolizes the money to be swept away.  The way we sweep the floor is from the front door to sweep inward.  We do not do laundry that day.  We put on all our new clothes.  The unmarried children are given a red package with money in it.  This was the hight light of my day, because even the strangers gave me red package with money.  We have lots of food.  All of the food we eat has a name to symbolize good luck and good fortunes.

The second day and third day of the New Year are prone to any debates and disagreements, because we have spent too long with the family.  We were told by the elderly members of the family to resist the argument and confrontation.  Each of us would avoid an argument.  We would remind ourselves that if we start on the wrong foot for the day, it would symbolize the day for the whole year. 

When we have followed all the rules, we feel fulfilled and happy for the rest of the year.

Feng Shui Tips 2008: Horse, Rat, Rabbit and Rooster

The energy of Tai Shui of 2008 is here because I have received a lot of emails from people who were born on the year of the Horse, Rat, Rabbit and Rooster by telling me what have happened to them with the 2008 chi.  I suffer from Tai Shui too.  I already had a fall on Jan 6, 2008 outside the door of Fred Seigal in Santa Monica, California.  Please take care of your elderly parents if they have to walk on the wet floor because of rain or ice.  Tai Shui sufferers are prone to fall and injure themselves.

Feng Shui knowledge is to help you prepare yourself.  It is better to prepare than sorry.  Please keep calm.  Take a deep breathing whenever you do not feel comfortable inside.

2) Look at beautiful scenery and flowers.
3) Go to parties.
4) Think positively, you will be OK. 
5) Just be careful on the road. 
6) Allow plenty of time to go from A to B.
7) Have plenty of sleep. 
8) Say nice things to people, even you do not feel like it.

Feng Shui Tips For 2008 For the Bedroom

Bedroom is a place to rest and we spend a lot of time in the bedroom.  It is important that the feng shui bedroom is in order, because we stay in the bed for the whole 6 to 8 hours a day.  Children spend longer in their bed, so we as parents must make sure that the feng shui is good for them.

Over the years I have been doing Feng Shui, I noticed that people who have beams above their bed do not sleep very well.  Their health also suffer.  If you suffer Tai Shui this year of year of the Rat, the beam would cause problems.  You need to solve the problems now before the Chinese New Year.  It is because you cannot make any movement when the Tai Shui has arrived.

Please put your bed in the north and avoid putting the bed in the south and northwest.  There are sickness energy in the areas.  The south location is worst than the northwest.  If you have the choice, please avoid the south at all cost.  You may place the bed in the southeast and other area.

If you have no other place to go, please place metal in the south and remove anything that is red from the area.

Feng Shui Tips for Horse People in 2008 – Avoid trouble with Tai Shui and 5 Yellow

Thank you for your interest in the Feng Shui tips for 2008.  I have received a lot of emails and phone calls from the people who were born in the Horse year.  Let me explain more to you, so others will get the benefit in understanding this to protect themselves. 

The south is in Shui Po and 5 Yellow this year of 2008.  The south is in the Horse position.  Therefore it affects the people who were born in the Horse year more.  Shui Po has a lot of disadvantages.

 What is Shui Po ? 

It is called Shui Po because it is facing the energy of Tai Shui in the north.  It means the energy is broken.  People who suffer Shui Po is in worse position than the Tai Shui.  Tai Shui is bad enough, but Shui Po is worse.  To top this up, there is 5 Yellow in the south too.  Shui Po could bring misfortune.  South has a lot Jo sharts (sitting curses), please avoid sitting in the south facing north.

 What is 5 Yellow ? 

5 Yellow is a sickness star.  People who understand Flying Star will be scare of 5 Yellow. 

People who suffer from 5 Yellow attack would suffer from ill health even death.

When you have Shui Po and 5 Yellow together, you need to pay attention to make sure you get yourself covered for protection purposes.  You do not sit facing the north.

You do need to draw a feng shui bagua.  You can use feng shui colors to negate some negative energy.  You can start to have feng shui bedroom first with calm soothing color, then move to feng shui living room with brighter color.  I have got all the feng shui tips in the book.  If you follow the instructions early, you will get fast results provided that you follow everything correctly.

Please be careful not to place red color in the south.  This will energize the sickness star of 5 Yellow if you put red in the south.  If you follow the books in the market by putting red in the south, you will be in trouble, so you see the books in the market are so general.

Clearing Clutter Day For Luck In 2008

Most of the Chinese people start to clear clutter before the Chinese New Year.  They believe that if the old stuff need to be removed before the new things can come in.  The last date fro clearing clutter will be on February 6, 2007.

It is best to clear the clutter well ahead of time before the New Year.  My family celebrate the New Year in December when the chi changes.  We do believe that by the time the New Year in February 7, the chi would have developed already.  It is best to clear the clutter well before the chi changes, please do not allow the chi to develop when you clear the clutter.

Apart from clearing the clutter in the house, it is important to clear the clutter in your mind.  We gather the negative thoughts in our mind because there are news and people who tell us the bad news.  If you do not refresh your mind with the positive thoughts, your health will suffer.

Feng Shui For Christmas guests and you

You will have people come to visit you for Christmas and New Year, please make sure you sit in the command position if your visitors or guests are your future business partners.  If the guest is your future love partner, please make sure you sit in the command position. 

The command position is sittng having the wall behind you and not the door or a passage.  You need to make the impression.  This is the way to do it.  Please avoid sitting in the southeast facing northwest even this is a command postion.  These areas are Tai Shui and Shui Po.  People get influenced in a bad way by this energy.  You would need to avoid at all cost.

Do you understand what I am saying ?  Southeast facing northwest is a bad position for 2007.  For 2008, you need to sit in the north and facing south.
